The Director’s Guild of America (DGA) reached a great deal with the AMPTP (Media Companies) to avoid a potential dual strike with the combined forces of the Writer’s Guild (WGA) and DGA. As Variety reports:

There has been a lot of moaning online about the new Knight Rider series coming to NBC in February. It’s seen by many to be an hour long commercial for the Ford Mustang. Or that, given the WGA strike, it will be poorly written
